Everyone always asks Peter, “How tall are you?”.  The answer is 6’ 6”, which helped him in his college basketball career at Spring Arbor University.  During his fifth year, he was an Assistant Coach, and he still plays in recreational leagues.  This is doing what one loves, and now Peter Barry loves being a Realtor.

Peter grew up in Pinckney, Michigan near the Huron River chain of lakes where he spent many summer days out on the lake.  At Spring Arbor University, he earned a BS degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing and Information Systems. 

His career path started as a system administrator in human resources for Dawn Foods in Jackson, MI; then on to a similar position with General Dynamics in Sterling Heights.

Peter’s creative side and love of working directly with people made him decide on a career change.  With his business skills and experiences, the decision to become a real estate agent was exactly the fit he wanted. His organized, data analytic marketing background gives him great insight into today’s fast-paced real estate world.

Peter enjoys life in Berkley with his wife, Kate, and their dog, Benny.  Working where you live gives Peter the best “hands on” knowledge to help his clients.  He enjoys home improvement projects and can provide helpful advice to sellers when preparing their homes for sale.  He also helps many of his buying clients see the potential in those “as is” areas where update ideas for a prospective house can give them an edge.
