The Buying Process

The home-buying process requires strategy and planning. Here are a few things to remember to ensure your plan is as strong as possible.

The Real Estate Company & Realtor:

Sellers feel more comfortable knowing the offer comes from a reputable company and the realtor. It is always important to get the right buyer’s agent/realtor to protect your interests, but in this market, it is crucial…  An experienced buyer’s agent cannot only help you find the right home, but they also know how to write offers that have a much greater chance of getting accepted!  The realtor puts in many offers every day for their buyers and has the expertise to get the home you want and guide you through this tedious process to win you the bid!

The sellers and their realtor also look for:

Pre-approval with a reputable, well-known Lender. However, you can likely get a loan from any lender if you have good credit, are financially able, and are currently working.  But in this market, the seller and the realtor must feel confident knowing that the lender you choose gets the job done, such as having a good reputation in Michigan in closing the property on time. They’re not just looking at the amount you’re pre-approved for; they look at the lender you’re choosing to work with. “This pre-approval demonstrates to the seller that you are a serious buyer.”

Mortgage rates are still low but increasing, and there’s a limited supply of homes for sale. As I’m sure you are aware, these are just a few key variables in today’s crazy market. That means leaning on expert guidance as you plan every move is more important than ever. Have a team of professionals – like a trusted real estate agent and a loan officer who have experience in writing offers that get accepted and guide you every step to make sure you make the right moves.

I would love to help you make that dream of finding the right home come true!
