“I called Steven Kallabat with an unusual request. I happened to see my childhood home was for sale at 24291 Scotia in Oak Park. I was not interested in buying it and I explained to Steven that I was only interested in seeing my old home if there was a way that I wouldn't inconvenience him. Steven explained that the home was going to be sold after only being on the market for only a few days. He arranged to meet me at the home and let me walk through the home I grew up in and had not seen in almost 44 years. It was a beautiful, emotional journey for me that lasted for about 20 minutes. Steven clearly went out of his way to make this happen for me and I am forever grateful. Steven is not only an experienced real estate professional, he exemplifies what it means to be a mensch.
