“Janet is an outstanding realtor and person. She helped us to buy our current house and sell an old one. We got to know Janet few years back, when we were searching for an empty lot or house. She was very helpful, engaging, and flexible as we have very busy work schedule. Together we did an extensive search, with multiple visit to numerous properties, including houses and empty plots. One of the plots we liked and she helped to organize (while we were at work) land survey and perk test. Turns out there was a legal issues connected to that plot and we decided not to purchase it, and I am very pleased that we did not. After all of that we decided that we should wait for few more years as it was too expensive for us. Janet did not say a word! She was so naturally pleasant and professional! I told her that when we are ready to buy a house, we will get in touch. We did, more then 2 years later. She already deleted my phone from her address book as she thought it was just a courtesy promise. It was not! We even did not consider anyone but get in touch directly with her once time was right. Once again, she was above board. Helpful, on time, prompt in response. ALWAYS defending her customer interest! She is FABULOUS; Simply the Best! “Janet sold me two homes totaling $900k in 2016, and she sold a $350k investment property for me in 2014. Janet is super fun to work with, but more importantly she is an agent who puts her clients first, and although she doesn't market herself this way -- she has all the characteristics of the quintessential buyer's agent. She has a deep understanding of the market, is intellectually curious and finds answers to specific questions, and raises questions of her own - questions that might not occur to the client, based on her vast experience. Janet is also very patient, a very good active listener, and very diligent about responding, following up, and ultimately closing issues with clarity and transparency. Lastly, Janet does a very good job at thoughtfully developing a negotiating strategy -- and giving you sensible feedback on your negotiating strategy. “When Janet was our buyers' agent in Ann Arbor, she did what we thought was impossible; Janet helped us get our dream home after having made ONE offer, on one house, under asking price, and with more seller concessions after the inspection. All of that was in Ann Arbor. Wow! Thank you Janet.I doubt you will find a more responsive agent (or a more responsive professional in any field for that matter). On this point, Janet is amazing. When we contacted during work hours (before 10 PM or after 8 AM) the longest we went without receiving a text, phone call, or email response was 30 min. That is not an exaggeration. I am confident that her commitment to quick response times was the key factor for getting us into our home. We have so many wonderful things to say about Janet. Her background in building and construction provided helpful knowledge. Her flexibility allowed us to creatively use our skills as buyers. Her close knowledge of the mortgage process helped anticipate and avoid roadblocks in the financing process. But looking back, the thing I appreciated most was her sense of humor. The process of buying a home is incredibly stressful. Now, imagine going through that process the week after Christmas during blizzards, federal holidays, and communicating with sellers who live on another continent. That was our experience. We looked at houses the week before Christmas, put in an offer on Christmas Eve, started the financing process shortly thereafter, and closed February 3. Through it all, Janet used humor and optimism to keep us going. We are so glad that the commission money from our home purchase went to this individual. Not only is she a wonderful woman of high character, she WORKS for her part of that the commission. As a result of Janet's responsiveness, enthusiasm, and excellent working relationship with lenders, we were able to quickly get into the home of our dreams. I'm sure she'll do the same for you.”
