I have followed my passion and found my niche in real estate. I hold a bachelors degree in Family Studies from Eastern Michigan University and I believe this is a perfect application for my field of study. My history with this area began in New Hudson as an infant, then to Novi (before 12 Oaks Mall) where I finished high school. After college, a brief stint in Charleston, South Carolina, then back to Detroit for a research position opportunity with Wayne State University. I married a South Lyon graduate and we made South Lyon our home. My father lived in South Lyon and I spent a good part of my youth there. Some of my favorite childhood memories are of attending the annual Memorial Day Parade which marched through town, and attending the very first Star Wars movie at the theater in town. My paternal grandfather, Albert Weinburger a South Lyon High School graduate was the mayor in 50's. He married his high school sweetheart, Evelyn Simmons. The family owned Simmons Orchard of 10 Mile road in Novi until the depression. My maternal grandfather was born in South Lyon in a historical home still there today on Eight Mile just east of Kroger on Pontiac Trail. He owned an excavating company on Dorothy Street which is now Rose Excavating, and was a Mason. A permanent resident of South Lyon since 1996. My two sons attend school and participate in sports here. I love the community and the small town feel.
