Hans Berg, an independent furniture designer who learned woodworking though a job with the John Widdicomb Co., bought the house for his family in 1936 and they owned it through 2021 when Jean Stoffer purchased the home. The intricate wood carvings, crown moldings, and innate elegance of the home immediately drew her in and inspired her vision. As the third owner of this lovely home, Jean took the way people lived in 1931 and transitioned it to how we choose to live today.
