Event Details: PMBC is partnering with Southwest Michigan First and a regional partner group to host the 2024 Southwest Michigan Supplier Readiness event on May 21 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Firekeepers Casino and Hotel in Battle Creek. This event is designed to support small businesses interested in showcasing their capabilities to local buyers by providing them with a variety of resources that will enable them to put their best foot forward through: Accessing capacity-building resources   Preparing for procurement opportunities   Perfecting their pitch   Growing and maintaining supply chain relationships   The Summit will be open to all suppliers looking for support to become buyer-ready, with a focus on opportunities for local and diverse businesses. The event will include presentations on doing business with Southwest Michigan organizations, breakout sessions on supplier resources, and buyer-supplier networking. There is no cost to participate though registration is required.

Event Details: Join PCCA May 18 from 4pm-7pm for the opening reception of the 2024 Members Biennial for an opportunity to meet the artists. Occurring every other year, the Members Biennial exhibition showcases artwork from Michigan resident artists who have contributed to, and shown support for, Paint Creek Center for the Arts’ mission through the purchase of an annual membership. Member artists are invited to submit work in a broad range of themes and subject matter, so long as it suits the all-ages nature of PCCA’s public gallery space. Light refreshments will be provided. This exhibition is free to the public to attend. Parking is available in the parking garage off of Walnut and Fourth Street.
