Together, they can enjoy art, singing, dancing, sensory explorations, science experiments, and group games, all while learning and making friends. It doesn't have to be the same adult each time, so the whole family can join in on the fun!

Event Details: We’re opening the doors of the Van Hoosen Farmhouse to host an informal afternoon hour. Guests get the chance to interact with artifacts and documents normally stored safely away in the collections room, while enjoying the ambiance of the 1840s Van Hoosen Farmhouse.  Since the 1800s, local people kept records of their lives through diaries. These personal time capsules offer a peek into the past, revealing the everyday adventures and happenings in the greater Rochester community. Dive into the treasure trove of diaries found in the Museum’s archives! This unique opportunity is limited to 12 people.  Tea and light snacks will be served.
